We're celebrating our 40th anniversary!

2020 marked Hydro International's 40th year of doing business. 

Four decades after he established Hydro R&D in Bristol, UK, the small company that Bernard Smisson started to promote his hydrodynamic vortex flow control and treatment technologies has grown into a trusted and hugely successful business with over 300 employees and operations that span the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Over the years we have grown in capability, experience and expertise—acquiring and integrating companies as diverse as Vexamus, Eutek Systems, Settled Solids Management, M2 Renewables, Hydro-Logic Services, Isodaq, Oxford Scientific Software and M&N Electrical and Mechanical Services into our business along the way.

From our origins in the UK we have added offices and expanded operations into the US, Canada, Ireland, France, the UAE, Australia and China, and in doing so we've been able to help more and more people around the world to manage water quantity and water quality effectively and reliably.

Over the last 40 years times may have changed, but what makes us who we are remains the same. We have built a deserved reputation for our expertise, our experience, and our drive to help our customers do what they need to do—and that's why, after four decades, our customers continue to trust us, trust our products and trust our services to protect homes, businesses and the environment from flooding and water pollution.
