Get robust, reliable screening for smaller municipal and industrial sites with the best screenings capture and the lowest whole-life cost of any screen in its class.
The MNSS™ Combined Screen is a robust, reliable screen that captures larger influent materials at the front end of wastewater treatment processes, protecting and improving the efficiency of downstream systems.
Developed by our UK Wastewater Services team, the MNSS™ Combined Screen is designed for smaller plants and those facilities that require a more cost-effective screening solution—helping engineers, operators and site owners to maintain treatment effectiveness even at remote and budget-constrained sites.
The MNSS™ Combined Screen is a robust, reliable screen that captures larger influent materials at the front end of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment processes, protecting and improving the efficiency of downstream treatment systems.
Handling flows of up to 150 l/s, the MNSS™ Combined Screen is designed for smaller plants and those facilities that require a more cost-effective screening solution—helping engineers, operators and site owners to maintain treatment effectiveness even at remote and budget-constrained sites.
Optimised for reduced maintenance and extended component lifetimes by our UK Wastewater Services team, the inlet works experts, only the MNSS™ Combined Screen achieves a screenings capture ratio of 53%, the highest of any independently tested 6 mm combined screen, and no other comparable solution delivers a lower TOTEX cost.
With a screenings capture ratio of 53%—the highest in its class—the MNSS™ Combined Screen protects the inlet works by effectively capturing and removing solids carried into the plant in influent.
Removal of these materials at the front of the treatment process protects downstream equipment from abrasion damage.
By capturing rag and coarse solids at the head of the treatment plant, the MNSS™ Combined Screen removes materials that can pass through the plant and clog tanks, reducing operational effectiveness and efficiency
As the treatment plant's first line of defence, the M&N UK Wastewater Services team has engineered the MNSS™ Combined Screen to provide exceptional durability and reliability, and to make the unit quick and easy to service when servicing is required.
With unrivalled expertise in wastewater treatment equipment servicing, our M&N team knows how important it is to cut the maintenance requirements of critical systems.
Reduced maintenance goes hand in hand with increased equipment lifetimes—the low-maintenance MNSS™ Combined Screen provides long component lifetimes, saving plants money on TOTEX costs.
One key to extended component lifetimes is a patented bottom bearing that prevents the brush from being used as a de facto bearing, ensuring industry-leading brush, auger and basket life.
The MNSS™ Combined Screen removes screenings and rags at the very start of the treatment process, preventing the need to unclog pumps, chambers, tanks or filters and reducing operator input drastically - thereby reducing maintenance and minimising employee time on site.
