Downstream Defender® performance verification: oil and grease. 

An independent third-party laboratory study was conducted by Coventry University’s School of the Built Environment on a 4-ft Downstream Defender®. The test procedures were designed to simulate an oil spill event and to determine the efficiency at six constant flow rates. Test results demonstrated greater than 80% removal efficiency for all tested flow rates.
