Downstream Defender® Installations at Disneyland®

Two 4-ft Downstream Defenders were installed in the parking lot of Disneyland theme park in Anaheim, California this month. The systems were selected because of their impressive trash and sediment capture capabilities and because they're so easy to maintain.

Amusement parks amass significant amounts of trash and runoff from parking lots contain high amounts of hydrocarbons. Downstream Defender is designed to keep oil and floatable debris above the benching skirt while sediment settles in the sump, making for an efficient and simple vactor truck cleanout.
