Wash Grit to Reduce Odour
High organic content in grit causes odour problems and complaints.
Using the correct grit cleaning device after grit removal can dramatically reduce the causes of odour at an inlet works. The TeaCup® can be used as a high performance accelerated gravity grit removal system for smaller plants, or a SlurryCup™, an "all-hydraulic" design has no internal moving parts, which increases reliability. Two levels of "washing" produces clean grit ready for dewatering.
